LARRY R. SILLMAN, AIA - PRINCIPAL
Mr. Sillman has been in the field of architecture for over thirty years. He attended California Polytechnic State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 1967 and his Bachelor of Structural Engineering Degree in 1970. He is licensed in California (#C-7585) and Nevada (#1219), and is NCARB Certified (#14242). He is also an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Associated General Contractors (AGC), Building Industry Association (BIA), Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH), Construction Specification Institute, Council of Educational Facilities Planners, and the National Fire Protection Association.

Mr. Sillman’s vast professional background provides him with a strong experience base as managing Architect for all types of projects. His involvement comes in the early stages of a project in the site planning and bureaucratic processing of new projects.

As Principal-in-Charge of projects and director of school projects, Mr. Sillman has personally supervised all school work since the firm’s inception, monitors his team as they create and finalize the design, and manages the team during construction.

Another one of his strengths lie in assistance in obtaining state funding and in the processing of projects for state approval. Mr. Sillman is very familiar with the requirements and laws of the Office of Public School Construction (OPSC), Office of Local Assistance (OLA), and the Division of the State Architect (DSA).

His background and experience allows him to design cost-effective buildings, yet something that is modern and appealing to potential users and/or tenants. This, along with his construction expertise, allows a single source of a client to easily put together a project and know that it can be successfully guided throughout the bureaucratic processes and built in a timely and cost-effective manner.
